IGK Group and BeNeLux Chamber Round Table: "Risk Management in Today’s Realities"

On 17 October 2025, a round table on "Risk Management in Today's Realities" was held in Aktau, organised by IGK Group Kazakhstan together with the BeNeLux Chamber of Commerce. The event took the form of a Road Show and brought together representatives of business, government bodies and investors from the region.

The event was initiated by IGK Group, a member of the BeNeLux Chamber.
It was opened by Anuar Kurzhikayev, who presented the Chamber's key areas of activity and stressed the importance of building international dialogue on risk assessment and mitigation in today's business environment.

The keynote address was delivered by Artem Tolstov, General Director of IGK Group Kazakhstan, who presented practical cases and credit risk management tools used in international practice.

Irina Kazarina, financial analyst at IGK Group, presented an analytical overview and risk assessment models actively used by companies in the EU and BeNeLux countries, along with the possibilities of adapting them to the Kazakh market.

The round table discussion involved representatives of key companies and institutions from the Mangystau region:

• Kanat Meirman, Regional Director of Kazakh Invest;
• Serik Akhmetov, former Head of Kuryk Port;
• Adi Zhasanbayev, Commercial Director of Semurg Invest;
• Anuar Kuatov, Director of Automation & Power Manufacturing Kazakhstan;
• Yerseit Tursinov, risk manager at Kaspiy SEZ JSC;
• Irina Kalininskaya, Director of Caspi Prom Tekh LLP;
• Gulshat Samiyeva, Chief Financial Officer of Caspian Coast;
• Samat Kenzhebayev, representative of KazIntegStroy.

During the discussion, participants shared experience and proposals on developing risk-assessment mechanisms in investment and production, and addressed cooperation between business and government bodies to improve the region's investment climate.

The event concluded with a coffee break in an informal setting, giving participants the opportunity to continue their exchange of views and discuss prospects for further cooperation between European and Kazakh companies. The event was sponsored by IGK Group.
