Almaty, 19 November 2025 — The BeNeLux Chamber of Commerce in Kazakhstan took part in the "Doing Business in Kazakhstan" seminar, organised by FIT and AWEX as part of a Belgian trade mission. The event was opened by the Ambassador of Belgium, Mr Erik De Maeyer, who highlighted the importance of developing bilateral economic ties.
The Chamber's General Secretary, Sultan Yessenbek, presented the organisation's activities and its key services for companies from the BeNeLux countries: organising B2B meetings, providing office space in Almaty and Astana, support in liaising with government bodies, holding business events, and promoting Chamber members through digital channels. He also underlined the Chamber's role as co-chair of the Belgium–Kazakhstan Business Council.
During the seminar, experts discussed the legal and economic aspects of doing business in Kazakhstan, sanctions compliance, risk and logistics issues, including opportunities offered by the Middle Corridor.
Representatives of Chamber member companies Ahlers Logistics and Puratos Central Asia shared their experience of working in Kazakhstan, presenting practical case studies from the logistics and FMCG sectors.
The seminar concluded with an active exchange of views and networking, further strengthening Belgian-Kazakh business cooperation.
