Van den Weghe Denis

Mr. Van den Weich was born in 1984 in Belgium. He has a bachelor's and master's degree in chemical engineering from the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium).

Since 2013 Denis has been a Member of the Board of Directors of the Belgian Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Russia and Belarus.

From 2013 to 2021, he was a Member of the Board of Directors at the France-Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

From 2010 to 2016, he held several senior positions in a Japanese multinational consumer goods company (FMCG).

Since February 2017, Mr. Van den Weich has been the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Belgium in the city of Almaty and the Almaty region.

From July 2017 to May 2019, he was the Chairman of the Board-President of JSC “KTsDS Atakent”.

From May 2018 to June 2019, Denis served as a Member of the Board of Directors of Atakent KTsDS JSC.

From August 2019 to July 2020, Mr. Van den Weich was an Independent Director - Member of the Board of Directors of Kazakh Invest NC JSC and Chairman of the Human Resources, Remuneration and Social Security Committee of the Board of Directors.

From July 2018 to the present day, he has been the Chairman of the Board of the NGO "Society of Honorary Consuls".

Since April 2020, he has been the Executive Director of Kaz-Dia-Test LLP

Since May 2020, he has been a member of the Energy Committee of the Presidium of NCE RK "Atameken".

Since June 2020, he has been a member of the Council of the ECOJER Association.

Since April 2021, he has been the President of the Association of Legal Entities “Chamber of Commerce “BeNeLux”.

Since August 2021, Denis has become the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Green Chemicals Kazakhstan LLP.

He is involved in several projects in the production of disposable test kits for the detection of various diseases, the conversion of waste into energy, the production of chemicals for the oil and gas industry, the mining and metallurgical industry, and also for water treatment. He speaks Dutch, French, English and Russian. He has attended seminars on business management, leadership, coaching, financial skills and strategy in the UK and Malaysia.
