Meeting with a Belgian Delegation
On 16 October 2022, the BeNeLux Chamber of Commerce office hosted a meeting between a Belgian delegation — comprising Director of the Bilateral Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jeroen Cooreman, Officer for the Caucasus and Central Asia Guillaume Choquet, and Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the Republic of Kazakhstan Henri Vantieghem — and the Chamber's leadership, represented by General Director Nurbek Yergeshbayev and General Secretary Yerlan Galiyev.
During the talks, General Director Nurbek Yergeshbayev gave a detailed briefing on the Chamber's work over 2021–2022, and the parties discussed bilateral cooperation in developing and promoting business in Kazakhstan.
The Belgian side informed the meeting that the BeNeLux Chamber of Commerce would serve as the responsible body on the Business Council on behalf of the Kingdom of Belgium.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further strengthen business cooperation between our countries.
