Tax Relief for Limiting Deductions on Consulting, Engineering and Other Services

On 29 September 2022, a webinar was held on "Tax Relief for Limiting Deductions on the Purchase of Consulting, Engineering and Other Services."

Taking part on the BeNeLux Chamber of Commerce platform were the Economic Research Institute (ERI) JSC, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), ERG, ArcelorMittal Temirtau, the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan, Witteveen+Bos, and Chamber members.

Topics discussed included:
1. Tax relief for limiting deductions on the purchase of consulting, engineering and other services;
2. Amendments to transfer-pricing legislation;
3. Other international taxation topics (e.g. amendments to the Tax Code of Kazakhstan from 2023).

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue on discussing the new Tax Code.
