Belgian Culture Day as Part of the Francophone Spring
On 15 March 2024, the city of Atyrau hosted a Belgian Culture Day as part of the Francophone Spring.
The BeNeLux Chamber of Commerce, together with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium in Kazakhstan, served as the main organisers of the event.
During the celebration, guests — francophones and francophiles of the city — had the opportunity to watch the Belgian film "Employee of the Month," attended by H.E. Henri Vantieghem, Ambassador of Belgium to Kazakhstan.
BeNeLux Chamber member, the Belgian company Puratos, kindly provided chocolate desserts for the event.
The screening took place at the YEMAA Centre for Contemporary Culture in Atyrau.
The event served as a platform for discussing prospects for cooperation in culture and the arts between the two countries.
