Exquisite Dinner with Chef Viki Geunes: Belgian Gastronomy Reaches New Heights in Astana

Astana, Kazakhstan – On November 22 and 23, 2024, Selfie restaurant at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel hosted an exclusive gastronomic dinner featuring renowned Belgian chef Viki Geunes, a three-Michelin-star chef.

Organized by GoodProject with the support of the BeNeLux Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of Belgium in Kazakhstan, the event marked a highlight in culinary exchange between Kazakhstan and Belgium.

Viki Geunes, the chef of restaurant “Zilte” in Antwerp, together with two of his sous-chefs, presented a unique menu showcasing the refined combination of Belgian culinary traditions and innovative approaches. Dishes crafted from meticulously selected ingredients transformed the evening into a true culinary spectacle.

The event was graced by His Excellency Henri Vantieghem, Ambassador of Belgium to Kazakhstan, Denis Van den Weghe, President of the BeNeLux Chamber of Commerce, as well as representatives from the business community, diplomatic corps, and cultural elite.

The Chamber’s President, Denis Van den Weghe, added:
